Included Technology Amenities

Your individual unit includes a smart thermostat, smart wall mount touch panel lighting control, and the ability to allow your guest(s) to enter the building from your phone or touch panel. These systems will be set up for you using your email and a temporary password. You should change this password after moving in.

The information below is required to set up your included services.

The next few pages are additional technology options, products, and services provided for your convenience by Boston Automations.

You may choose as many options as you'd like and a quote for the products and installation will be provided to you by Boston Automations.

We will then schedule a time with you to perform the install.

Network Package

Your residence has a Comcast (Xfinity) modem already installed in the closet of your unit, so we recommend using Comcast over Verizon.

Verizon television, internet, and phone services are also another option in the building.

You will need to coordinate the setup of your Comcast (Xfinity) services such as TV, Internet, and Phone by calling 1-800-COMCAST. Once you have Wi-Fi turned on, the Boston Automations team can install a higher quality Wi-Fi network in your unit which will give you faster speeds and a more reliable connection. This is very important for a crowded building with many people working from home and on video calls.

Ring Peephole Camera

Enjoy all the benefits of a Video Doorbell – HD video, two-way talk, and motion-activated notifications – in a sleek, compact form that’s perfectly designed for your apartment. It senses knocks and lets you see who’s at your door from anywhere from your phone or touch panel.

Audio Video Technology Package

Boston Automations will install any 2020 model of SONY television 55” and up with a flat mount or articulating mount in any or all of the rooms in your unit.

The audio from your TV can be played either from the TV or we can install a Sonos Soundbar and optional Sonos Subwoofer.

Optional: OLED TV Upgrades

With Sony's state-of-the-art OLED technology, you'll experience incredible picture contrast with absolute blacks, bright whites, and lifelike color. Available for 55", 65" or 75" televisions. These are simply the best televisions on the market. Select all that apply.

Speaker Package (Additional Music Zones)

Powered speakers can be added to rooms.

Sonos tabletop or wall mountable speakers can be used for surround sound in your living room or placed on counters or tables to play music throughout your unit.

The speakers can all be linked together to play the same music everywhere or play music in different rooms with a touch of a button.

There are three different sized speakers available depending on the quality of sound that you’d desire.

• Sonos Move - high-quality portable bluetooth speaker
• Sonos One with Alexa Built-in
• Sonos 5 - top of the line tabletop speaker

Voice Control Package

Intuitive voice control with Josh.ai’s Micro device engineered for simple reliable home automation.Using natural language, speak to Josh to control your shades, lighting, thermostat, audio streaming services, and video services.

Josh Micro is a puck-sized device with built-in microphones and sensors to enable intelligent automation.

Includes Josh’s simple mobile app for iOS and Android devices for control from inside or away from home.

Additional Micros available for separate bedrooms.

Motorized shades by Q-Motion

Boston Automations offers motorized shades that will offer hands-free raising and lowering of the shades in your unit.

You can use your voice, an app on your phone or wall touchscreen to raise and lower. You can also set the shades to automatically raise and lower in the morning and night.

Since these are custom made items it is the tenants responsibility required to leave the shade when you move out or swap in the original shades.

Apartment Cleaning Package

Boston Automations has partnered with iRobot to offer the Roomba i Series and s Series robot vacuums. The vacuums are ideally suited for your units and empties on its own into an AllergenLock™ bag trapping 99% of allergens. Uses a premium 3-Stage Cleaning System and Dual Rubber Brushes giving you total control to clean when and where you want.
