Savant is just as useful when you're in residence. A morning scene can open the shades on the water side, turn on music in the kitchen and bring the heat up in the rooms you use first. At night, one tap on the bedside keypad turns off every light in the house and locks the doors. Guests can use a simple remote in the media room without learning the app.
