Summer houses fill up with people who don't live there the rest of the year. Control4 remotes and engraved keypads are easy for guests to pick up, and we set each room so the obvious button does the obvious thing. Owners get the full app, including control when they're away.
In the off season, the Control4 app is how you keep an eye on things. You can see the cameras, check the temperature in each building and turn on lights so the house doesn't look empty. When you're heading down for the weekend, you can bring the heat up in the main house and the guest house before you leave home.
